In an effort to provide the most comprehensive care to his patients, Dr. Ascher often collaborates with Dr. Alissa Silverman, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and life coach. Her boutique private practice in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia caters to high functioning and professional women dealing with adjustment-related difficulties. Some of the focus areas are anxiety, life-transitions, perfectionism, sadness from relationship or marital problems, issues related to work-life balance, and feelings of deprivation, neglect, and dissatisfaction. She currently serves as a Clinical Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and received the University of Pennsylvania Dean’s Award for Excellence in Medical Student Teaching by an Allied Health Professional in 2011.
Private consultations with Dr. Silverman will move one into immediate action with her positive, dynamic, inspiring and interpersonal approach to understanding the uniqueness of the human condition. She prides herself on walking alongside her clients to assist in their journey of self-growth and change. She understands that the process of change has a varied timeline for each person.
Dr. Silverman’s active style as a psychologist and life coach will not only energize, but also empower those she works with to be courageous, think differently, dream big, and not let the noise of the negative interfere with the greatness that lies within each of us.
